Prevention, Preparedness, Plagues and Politics: The Life of the Surgeon General

Below is a great opporutnity to learn from Dr. Carmona. I've been following Dr. Carmona since learning his about his keynote address at the Global Spa Summit.

The 17th Surgeon General of the United States, Richard Carmona, M.D., M.P.H., FACS, will be a featured speaker in the 2008-2009 Chancellor's Distinguished Fellows Series. The lecture, entitled "Prevention, Preparedness, Plagues and Politics: The Life of the Surgeon General," is sponsored by the Program in Public Health, College of Health Sciences and will take place at 3:30pm, Friday, May 1st, 2009 in the Crystal Cove Auditorium at the UCI Student Center.
